This Privacy Policy explains how Make Me Snore ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit makemesnore.com, buy from us, or contact us. Our store runs on Shopify, which processes information on our behalf.

Information we collect

Contact and order details you give us: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and what you ordered.
Payment information. Card details are collected and processed by our payment providers, not by us. We receive confirmation of payment and a partial card reference, never your full card number.
Account and subscription details if you create an account or join The Sleep Club, including your delivery schedule and order history.
Messages you send us by email or through the contact form.
Device and usage information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar data gathered through cookies and comparable technologies.

How we use it

To take, process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and to manage subscriptions.
To contact you about an order, a delivery, a renewal or a support request.
To send marketing emails, where you have asked for them or where we are otherwise permitted. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
To run, secure and improve the site, and to understand how it is used.
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with parties who need it to run the business:

Shopify, which hosts the store and processes orders.
Payment processors, to take payment.
Supliful and shipping carriers, to pick, pack and deliver your order.
Our subscription and email tools, to manage renewals and send the emails you have asked for.
Analytics and advertising providers, which may receive device and usage data through cookies. Depending on where you live this may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under state privacy law, and you can opt out (see below).
Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Cookies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, measure traffic and, where applicable, support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some of them will break parts of the store.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information.

To exercise any of these, email hello@makemesnore.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

If you visit our site with Global Privacy Control enabled, we treat that as an opt-out request for that browser and device where the law requires it.

To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them. We will still send you transactional messages about orders and subscriptions.

How long we keep it

We keep order and account records for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information to us by email.

Children

Our products and this site are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Where your information goes

We are based in the United States and your information is processed there. If you are outside the US, be aware that US data protection law may differ from your own.
